‘July 27 official working day for banks’

Secretary General of Kuwait Banks Union Dr Hamad Al-Hassawi affirmed that the Central Bank of Kuwait has issued a circular to the local banks about Sunday, July 27 being an official working day while the Eid Al-Fitr holidays will be from Monday, July 28 to Saturday, Aug 2, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.

He said the banks in Kuwait, due to their keenness to complete the transactions of clients, have decided to work on July 27 before the Eid Al-Fitr holidays, which will be for nine days for ministers and governmental institutions.
