3 Keralites caught over Filipino woman's murder

Ajith Augustine, a Keralite bakery woker from Kozhikkode and two of his friends Tijo Thomas and Tufail were arrested in the case of a Filipino woman who was found dead at her burnt flat in Farwaniya. The fire at the flat near the Pakistani school in Farwaniya was reported last Wednesday and the death was declared as accidental. But the forensic test reports revealed death not from burning but from strangulation of the neck led to the arrest of the three young men.

Ajith Augustine, the first culprit, according to the reports, had borrowed lump sum amount of money from the Philippine woman who had the business of money loan.  When Ajith could not pay back the money on the date the woman had warned, he planned to kill her and burn he flat to destroy evidences. He called two of his friends to help him to do the heinous crime. A thorough investigation is underway.
