5th Consecutive year of Scientific Achievement award for Dr. S. Neelamani by Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research

Dr. S. Neelamani, Senior Research Scientist, Coastal Management Program, Environment and Life Sciences Research Centre, Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) is honored with Scientific Achievement award for his remarkable contribution to scientific knowledge, creative spirit and continuing efforts towards the advancement of KISR and development of mankind.

Every year, sine 2009, KISR selects the top 20 scientific achievers among the scientific staffs of 29 different research programs in KISR, based on their annual scientific performance.  Dr. S. Neelamani has secured fourth position among the top 20achievers this year. This is the 5th consecutive year he is winning this award from KISR.

The award is presented under the patronage of His Highness, The Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, in a function in KISR on 18 May 2014, Sunday at 10.00 am in the KISR Auditorium, Shuwaikh. Minister of Education and higher Education and Chairman of KISR’s Board of Trustees Mr. Ahmed A. Al-Melaifi and the Director General of KISR Dr. Naji Al-Mutairi give away the awards to the scientific achievers.

Dr. S. Neelamani was also honored with an additional “Scientific Excellence Award” for his distinguished scientific publications. Dr. S. Neelamani expressed his sincere gratitude to KISR management for recognizing his scientific contribution and he also thanks all his colleagues and friends who are supporting him with his scientific work at various capacity.

Dr. S. Neelamani is the son of a handloom weaver and hails from a small town called Punjai Puliampatti, near Coimbatore in Tamilnadu, India.
