April 19, 2015, 1:05 pm

The Interior Ministry’s Assistant Undersecretary for General Security Maj Gen Abdelfattah Al-Ali said that more than 700 checkpoints have been set up all over the country as part of the security measures undertaken against criminal and terrorist activities. The checkpoints are located at the country’s land borders and in areas with a high density population. The Maj. General also added that due to stringent measures being implemented the number of thefts, unruly behaviour, fights and shootings have decreased. He assured the public that the police are on full-alert for any possible criminal or terrorist action that could pose a threat to the life and safety of citizens and expatriates in Kuwait.
