79 Employees with fake sick leaves referred to prosecution
February 20, 2015, 8:52 am

Seventy nine employees working for a state-run oil company were recently referred to the Public Prosecution on charges of forgery, said security sources. Case papers indicate that after a doctor whose signature was found on sick leaves joined the medical staff of the oil company hospital, administrative and personnel officials found out that some company employees still took sick leaves upon recommendations from a private hospital that were still being signed by the very same doctor. On questioning the doctor, he denied signing the sick leaves and stressed that the private hospital’s stamp was fake. Questioning the 79 employees themselves, they admitted to forging the sick leaves.
