November 25, 2013, 11:52 am

A number of flights scheduled to arrive at Kuwait International Airport on Monday have been transferred to surrounding airports, while others departing have been delayed due to low visibility casued by fog that is covering large parts of the country.

Visibility at the airport is only 50 meters, and this has caused the transfer of four Kuwait Airways flights to Bahrain and Dammam in Saudi Arabia, while a British Airways flight was also transferred to Bahrain, Kuwait Civil Aviation Department Director of Operations' Essam Al-Zamel told KUNA.

Meanwhile, a total of six departing flights were delayed awaiting an improvement in the weather.
