Charcoal smoke kills two workers

Two expatriates an Indian and an Ethiopian died while another Indian is in critical condition due to suffocation caused by burning of coal inside their room in a farm in Abdali area.

According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received the information about three unconscious laborers inside a room in a farm in Abdali area, security men rushed to the location with paramedics to discover two of the laborers, an Indian and an Ethiopian died while the third laborer, an Indian national was alive but in critical condition.

Investigations revealed that the three victims were sleeping in the room when they were burning coal which caused heavy smoke in the room and eventually led to the death of two of them. Their corpses were referred to the Forensics Department. A case was registered.
