Civil Information wins Kuwait e-Content Award

The Director-General of the Public Authority for Civil Information Musaid Al Asousi expressed his pride on winning the Kuwait e-Content Award in the field of e-governance, announced by the Kuwait Foundation for Advancement of Science, for the e-Envelope system; considered as one of the most sophisticated programs in Customer Services and a great breakthrough in shortening procedure time. Applicants can now renew their transactions and attach the required documents electronically. The system includes an SMS feature to follow-up on transactions.

The program currently includes the following services:

• complete newborn registration
• first time registration of maids
• Kuwaiti and non-Kuwaiti renewals.

Al Asousi highlighted the role of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement and Sciences through awards granted to special and distinguished individuals and institutions in many areas, confirming its constructive role in encouraging creative and innovative individuals scientifically, showcasing their achievements and works.

Afterwards, Al Asousi expressed his appreciation to all employees who have contributed to the development of this service in the Authority, and to those in charge of this program which was completed in a great manner within a record time, to offer all its advantages and facilitate the applicants reviewing tasks, as it will include other services to be announced soon.
