Deportation for 7,000 expats held in last 7 days security sweep

Nearly 7,000 expatriates have been detained in various police stations for deportation after they were arrested in security campaigns held in the last 7 days, security sources say.

According to the statistics, 233 men and 233 women were arrested from Capital Governorate for violating the law while 411 women and 663 men were arrested from Hawally Governorate, 599 men and 791 women from Ahmadi Governorate, 472 men and 726 women from Jahra Governorate, 1,154 men and 1,510 women from Farwaniya Governorate, and 124 men and 130 women from Mubarak Al- Kabeer Governorate.

Sources revealed that all the arrested men and women will be deported after taking the necessary legal measures. In a related issue, statistics issued by the Public Security Sector revealed that 327 security crackdowns were held in different areas of the country under the guidance of Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs at Ministry of Interior Major General Abdul Fattah Al-Ali.
