Dr. C.V. Ananda Bose takes over as Chairman of Central Railside Warehouse Company Ltd. (CRWC)

A very accomplished civil servant Dr. C.V. Ananda Bose (Retired IAS) has been appointed as Chairman of Central Railside Warehouse Company Ltd. (CRWC). Dr. Bose is also Chairman of Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC).

Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) Mussoorie has conferred on him its prestigious Fellowship last year. He superannuated as Additional Chief Secretary and is currently Chairman of UN  Affiliate Expert Committee. Dr. Bose is a prolific writer and columnist and has published 20 books in English and Malayalam including novels, short stories, poems and essays. Some of his books are best sellers too.

Dr. C.V. Ananda Bose is the founder of many innovative movements and institutions in the field of affordable housing, good governance, science and technology, and other fields. He represented India in the European Council for Nuclear Energy, Geneva where the Higgs Boson was discovered. He also represented India in the International Fusion Energy Organization, France. He was Chairman of the Atomic Energy Education Society.

 Dr. Bose has been a recipient of 17 International and National awards for his outstanding contributions in different sectors. He is the recipient of the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru fellowship. In recognition of his pioneering efforts in the field of housing, the United Nations has selected his initiatives as the Global Best Practice four times. Government of India awarded him the National (Special) Habitat award. He was the Head of Supreme Court Expert Committee on the treasures of ‘Shree Padmanabhaswamy Temple’ Trivandrum. A well known orator, he was the best speaker of Kerala University for 3 years. He has won more than 100 prizes, including 15 Gold medals, in speech and debate competitions at the university level.
