Egyptian mandoub sought for selling fake work visas

Police have arrested an Egyptian mandoub for forging work permits of 35 Egyptian workers in return for KD 19,250 (KD 550 each) without the knowledge of sponsor, reports Al-Rai daily.

The daily said after the sponsor discovered the forgery of his signature, he filed a complaint with General Department for Residence Affairs, following which the man was arrested and referred to the Public Prosecution. The interrogations are continuing. In the meantime a travel ban has been imposed on the mandoub.
