Expats still receiving camp licenses
November 12, 2015, 10:05 am

Kuwait Municipality’s official spokesman Nadia Al-Sharaida has refuted social media rumors that say non-Kuwaitis applications for camp licenses are rejected, adding that licenses continue to be issued to Kuwaitis and others. She has stressed the falsity of the rumors.

Sharaida said that to ensure the implementation of the circular (24/2015), the municipality took several measures to prevent the camps being rented out to unauthorized people, including the cancellation of data amendments, and issuing the license to the applicants only.

She explained that some non-Kuwaitis come with several Civil IDs when applying for a license, but only the person will get the license after there has been some confirmation that he will not rent it to others.
