Calling all scientists, coders, and environmental enthusiasts! The Gulf’s first Fishackathon is back for it’s second year!

Fishackathon Kuwait is part of an epic partnership between the US Department of State and HackerNest in dozens of cities around the world, seeking to make Earth’s waters, aquaculture, and fisheries more sustainable and equitable.

What it is: A Fishackathon is a collaborative competition, connecting coders and scientists with designers, photographers, engineers, and volunteers from all backgrounds in an effort to produce digital solutions for global challenges in marine environmental science.

Who can join: We don’t just need scientists and software developers! Artists, writers, entrepreneurs, designers, architects, and all individuals with a passion for creating change are welcome. Whatever your profession, solutions are always collaborative!
