German plane confirmed clear after suspicion of bomb onboard - civil aviation
January 15, 2017, 5:14 pm

Later in the day, Kuwait Ministry of Interior issued a statement, also affirming that there was no bomb aboard the plane which had conducted an emergency landing at Kuwait International Airport. Security personnel stationed at the airport thoroughly searched the aircraft and took all necessary precautions to deal with the situation, the official statement added.

The MoI has received a notification earlier in the day from the DGCA about the aircraft emergency landing due to suspicions suggesting that a bomb was planted on it. Passengers were given all possible facilities and accommodations during the period of time the personnel combed the aircraft, included in the planes departing schedule.
