Hearings for 29 charged in mosque bombing begin

The Criminal Court presided over by Judge Mohammad Rashid Al-Duaij will Tuesday, 4 Aug start the hearing of the case filed against 29 individuals accused of being involved in the bomb blast incident at Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque.According to the court file, the Public Prosecution referred the 29 suspects to the Criminal Court after completing investigations and collecting all evidences. The Detention Renewal Judge extended the detention of two of the suspects.

All defendants denied the accusations except one identified as A.S. who admitted in front of the Renewal Detention Judge that he took the suicide bomber to the mosque.
