Teams formed to monitor suspicious places

The Assistant Undersecretary for Criminal Security Affairs Major General Abdulhameed Al- Awadi has instructed Director General of Criminal Investigations Brigadier Mahmoud Al-Tabakh to form special teams to monitor parties and ceremonies to be held on New Year’s Day where drugs and liquor could be served, reports Alam Alyawm daily.

According to security sources, these special security teams will be distributed to all six governorates where they will conduct surveillance on camps, suspicious apartments, chalets and other places where such parties could be held. They revealed that the teams will have the right to raid suspicious places, adding that expatriates arrested at such parties will be immediately deported.
