Indian Education Exhibition 2014 opens at Holiday Inn

Indian Ambassador inaugurating the exhibition

His Excellency Sunil Jain, Ambassador of India to Kuwait, inaugurated the seventh iteration of Indian Education Exhibition 2014, on Friday, 24 January, at the Holiday Inn in Salmiya.

After taking a tour of the exhibition and speaking to representatives of various educational establishments manning the booths, His Excellency expressed his pleasure at seeing the large number of reputed Indian academic institutions at the exhibition and the fact that they were offering such a wide variety of courses. Wishing the exhibitors and organizers the very best, Ambassador Jain encouraged parents and students to avail of the opportunity presented by the exhibition to obtain latest information and specifics about the range of professional and vocational courses on offer in India.

The two-day exhibition, which is open from 10.30am to 8pm on Friday and Saturday, is a one-stop information event for learning about the variety of professional and vocational courses that NRI  and Kuwait students can pursue in reputed educational institutions in India.

Showcasing various attractive options that are available at Indian educational institutions, the 2014  version of Indian Education Exhibition offers students the opportunity to pursue higher studies in renowned colleges to obtain undergraduate and post-graduate degrees in various disciplines, including medicine, engineering, business management, marketing and communications, arts and science, hospitality & hotel management and Allied Health Sciences.

Over 20 leading Indian educational establishments, with more than 75 institutions under them, are offering over 200 academic programs at the exhibition. Some of the leading institutions participating in the show include Anna University, SRM University, Hindustan University, Datta Meghe Medical Science University and KJ Somaiya Group of Institutions among others. All the participating institutes are recognized by the AICTE, UGC and respective government bodies in India.

The profile of establishments participating in the exhibition is spread across a wide spectrum of academia and include International Schools, Universities, Deemed Universities, Engineering and Medical Colleges, B-Schools, MBA & Management institutions, Distance Education, Pharmacy & Nursing, Bio Informatics, Information Technology, Colleges offering Higher education in Arts & Science, Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Post Graduation & Research, Diploma Studies, Unique and specialized programs.

Students, along with their parents visiting the show will get an opportunity to personally interact with college administrators and professors, to know specifics about the variety of educational programs available in India. Visitors can also obtain updated information, fee structure, eligibility criteria and programs which are currently in high demand. Some of the institutions are also offering spot admissions.

Besides free educational counseling, registration and admissions from school level to research programs, the exhibition also offers information about personality development, communication skills and in demand IT courses and programs. The fact that all this information is readily available under one-roof, means students can access this data without having to spend time and money to visit separate universities in India.

The exhibition is organized by Indus Fairs & Events (India) and Response Events and Exhibitions, Kuwait, one of the leading event organizers in the country. The exhibition is  co-sponsored by Manipal Institute of Higher Learning, among the most renowned educational establishments in India.
