Indian national Mr. Rajamurugan, who was cheated by an agent in India and was working as a shepherd in Kuwait, has safely returned to India on 8 November.

Rajamurugan from Muthukulathur, Ramnad District, Tamil Nadu moved to Kuwait last month after paying a large sum of money to an agent to secure a visa and was assured a driver job. When he arrived in Kuwait, the sponsor forced him to work as a shepherd in a remote desert area, and he struggled in the harsh conditions for a whole month.  Meanwhile, his family in India approached the District collector and requested he be rescued from Kuwait.

Based on the news published in the Tamil Newspaper ‘Dinamalar’, Indian Frontliners organization in Kuwait approached the concerned person and his sponsor.  Mr. Mathi, Welfare Secretary of IFL initiated the efforts for his safe return with the help of TVS Dr. Hyder Ali, and Nellai Maraikayar. Following discussions with the sponsor and making the necessary flight arrangements, Mr. Rajamurugan was repatriated home on 9 November.
