Indian flees with 4 kilos gold, silver, cash

An Indian, identified only as Deepak, is said to have left Kuwait after stealing four kilos of gold, two kilos of silver and KD 3,000 cash, reports Al-Anba daily. The Indian, is believed to be a manager of a jewelry shop and left the country with the loot. The Kuwaiti owner of the shop has handed over the case to the Interpol.

Police have arrested a Kuwaiti and are looking for an Asian for selling forged state revenue stamps of KD 10 and KD 5 denomination, reports Al- Shahed daily. The daily quoting security sources said police acting on a tip-off set a trap for the citizen and caught him red-handed selling the stamps to a police agent in Rawdah. During interrogation the Kuwaiti said he got the stamps from an Asian. Police have seized 1,000 forged stamps from the apartment of the citizen.
