KISR finishes nano-battery prototype for medical usage
July 29, 2015, 8:18 am

Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) finished Tuesday a prototype for a nano-battery that is being developed for medical usage. A statement by KISR said that the project took two years to complete, adding that the institute collaborated with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) on the nano-battery.

The prototype will be subjected to experiments and trials before approving the final product, said KISR, noting that the nanobattery would help provide sufficient energy for medical tools and small robots used in cancer cell treatment.
