KSE, WFEO sign cooperation pact to improve female engineers' qualifications.

Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) and the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) have signed a memorandum of cooperation to provide female engineers with proper skills, knowledge and credentials to enable them to take leading positions inside and outside of the country.

Head of KSE Eyyad Al-Humoud told KUNA, Friday, that the memorandum stipulates holding training courses and workshops at the WFEO's headquarters at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organizations (UNESCO) in Paris.

The WFEO's training courses will be in coordination Kuwait Civil Service Commission and other government and private bodies, he added.

The World Federation of Engineering Organizations is an international, non-governmental organization representing the engineering profession worldwide.

It was founded in 1968 by a group of regional engineering organizations, under the auspices of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organizations (UNESCO) in Paris.

WFEO brings together national engineering organizations from over 90 nations and represents some 20 million engineers from around the world.
