Teams from the Environment Public Authority (EPA) and the Interior Ministry seized saturday around 1,500 foam spray cans, which were banned because of their health hazard.

EPA Director General Dr. Salah Al-Mudhi, in a statement to KUNA, the seizure was part of an EPA campaign against importing, distributing or selling of foam spray cans, in compliance with a government decision.

He called on the citizens inform the EPA about the places where foam spray cans were sold.

Al-Mudhi said people who would sell the foam spray cans would be "legally responsible" for their act.
