Kuwait, Turkey sign cooperation agreements

HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Turkish President Abdullah Gul and HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah oversee agreements signing ceremony.

Kuwait and Turkey signed a number of agreements at Bayan Palace on Tuesday in presence of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Turkish President Abdullah Gul, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Khaled Jarrah Al-Sabah signed an agreement on military training with Turkish Minister of National Defense Ismet Yilmaz.

Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah signed a cooperation protocol on journalism and mass communication with Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Emrullah Isler.

Minister of Communications and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs Essa Al-Kanderi also signed an agreement on maritime trade transportation with Turkish Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekci.

In addition, Undersecretary of Foreign Ministry Khaled Suleiman Al-Jarallah signed a Protocol on archiving with General Manager of Turkish General Directorate of State Archives Dr. Ugur Unal.
