Kuwait Anti-Corruption Authority refers official to public prosecution

The Kuwaiti Anti-Corruption Authority referred Saturday an undersecretary at a state institution to the public prosecution on corruption allegations and act of public funds embezzlement.

A statement by the authority obtained by KUNA said that the referral was based on laws concerning the protection of public funds. The authority called on citizens and residents to report any acts of corruption being perpetrated in the country, affirming that justice will be enforced against wrongdoers.
