Kuwait delivers 2,200 aid packages to Jordan

Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan Dr. Hamad Al-Duaij handing aid packages to chariety societies in Jordan to help families in need during Ramadan.

Kuwait Embassy in Jordan handed 2,200 aid packages to over 120 charity societies in Jordan on Saturday, to provide families in need with essential items during Ramadan.

The Embassy hands out aid to families in Jordan in Ramadan of each year, under direct orders from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan Dr. Hamad Al-Duaij told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

Aid packages are given to charity societies in equal amounts, the Ambassador noted, adding that the packages include high quality food items carefully chosen by the diplomatic delegation.

Head of one of the societies Zainab Al-Khaldi praised the prominent Kuwaiti charity works, noting that there are big numbers of poor families, orphans, widows and Syrian refugees eagerly awaiting the arrival of such aid in Ramadan.
