The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has finalized preparations for the upcoming pilgrimage for sake of securing all needed services for the pilgrims.

Khelaif Al-Ethaina, the ministry assistant undersecretary, said in a statement on Tuesday that the ministry had contacted the relevant Saudi authorities to organize the best possible services for the Kuwaiti pilgrims.

Electronic data networks of the ministry of Civil Service Commission and the ministry have been linked up, he said, indicating that this measure secured tighter control over civil servants' vacations and unlicensed hajj campaigns.

The Ministry of Awqaf has organized a workshop, training staff of more than 40 public departments on how to use the integrated electronic system.

Moreover, Al-Ethaina added that the ministry coordinates with the Ministry of Health with respect of pilgrims' medical records and educating the faithful planning to travel to the holy lands about possible diseases' infections.
