September 3, 2016, 8:18 am

Acting Director of the Public Authority for Manpower Abdullah Al-Mutawtah officially announced Friday the end of the ban for working outdoors that was from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the summer.

Al-Mutawtah said in a press release that this order was made to protect the workers from the hot weather, and it was activated in the beginning of June, where it effectively ended at the end of August.

He noted that inspections are made around the clock on construction sites to monitor violations. Up to 705 breaches were recorded at 691 sites, and after inspecting them again, there was only one violation.
