Kuwaiti sentenced to death for ‘killing’ security guard

The Criminal Court presided over by Judge Abdulrahman Al-Darimi has sentenced a Kuwaiti citizen to death for murdering an Egyptian security guard of a commercial complex in Mubarakiya area. Two other individuals involved in the same incident have been sentenced to ten-year imprisonment with hard labor.

According to the case files, the 25-year-old Egyptian security guard requested three youths to leave the commercial complex because they were eve-teasing and troubling families. However, the three youths retaliated by stabbing the securit guard with knives and leaving him in a pool of his own blood.

Even though the victim was rushed to Amiri Hospital, he eventually succumbed to the injuries. The three youths were arrested by police officers with the help of some bystanders at the site. They were referred to the police station of the area where a murder case was filed against them.

Jeep snatched: Police are looking for two unidentified persons for stealing a Jeep belonging to a female lawyer in Jahra, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to the complainant her Asian driver was driving the Jeep and the suspects deliberately collided with the Jeep from the rear and when the driver climbed out of the Jeep to see the damage done to the vehicle, one of the suspects got behind the wheel and escaped with the Jeep
