MJ5 Dance Group to perform at Marina Hall tomorrow

Delhi-based dance group ‘MJ5’, who is also India's Dancing Superstar (IDS) 2013 winners will be performing tomorrow at the 17th Annual day Celebrations of Arpan Kuwait, at Marina Hall, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh.

MJ5, popularly known as India’s own Moonwalkers are a band of 5 member crew who participated and won the inaugural season of Star Plus’s dance reality show, India’s Dancing Superstar and won the prize of Rs 50 lakh. The group has always enthralled the audiences with their unique style and innovative dance performances.

"This is our second time performing in Kuwait but we are excited and hope to give our best,” says Karthik Ramaiah, one of the Team Member of MJ5 Dance Group in an exclusive chat with The Times Kuwait .

Kartik Ramaiah, Alexander Dannis Antony, Himanshu Gola, Vishnu Kumar and Rohit Singh are the team members of the MJ5 Group who will be performing in Kuwait tomorrow. They are here along with their Team Manager Mr. Nithish.

MJ5 Dance Group is inspired by the Legendary Michael Jackson and their dance style is animation. “We love his style and try to incorporate some of it in our dance," says Karthik Ramaiah.

Since their great win in India’s Dancing Superstar, they have done a lot of stage performances in India as well as in Gulf, like Dubai, Muscat and Oman. They are also planning on starting their own MJ5 Dance Academy in Mumbai next year where they plan to teach aspiring dancers.

Speaking about tomorrow’s performance, Karthik said, “We are all set and looking forward to the show. We thank the Indian community in Kuwait for representing India and for inviting us here. We appreciate the Indian community for voting and supporting us."
