It is that time of the year again to bundle up with chummy fabrics and cozy color pallets. Autumn/ Winter 2017 collection for women will present Prints and fabric inspired by a range of eras run throughout the trends. These include regal tapestry prints, devore fabrics, heritage checks and 80s sequins and shapes.

Ochre and rust are the new colours to be seen in, whilst red and pink add a burst of colour to outfits. Heritage checks are a must, these are seen across suiting and outerwear but given a modern update on corset tops and oversized blazer coats. The corset top forms an essential layering piece adding the cool factor and providing a key silhouette.

On accessories, statement earrings, mini bags and cone heels are key and will add perfect finishing touches to outfits. Key pieces to lookout for are the jacquard aviator jacket, ochre velvet dress and silver glitter slouch boots.

For men, Puffa jackets in block, bold colours are a staple this Autumn Winter, with sports-inspired silhouettes giving a fresh take on 90s fashion. Subcultures run throughout the collections, with our “Berghain” trend inspired by the raw energy and rebellious hedonism of the infamous Berlin nightclub and the cities hard edge aesthetic. Sports punk and utility collide in a modern take on youth subculture; acid wash and bleach effects dominate the trend with checks and tartan to finish.

Velvet is the fabric of the season; a rich colour palette gives our “Velvet Underground” trend depth.  Updates on the basic jogger and our popular bomber jackets are evident in this texture driven trend.

Urban survival wear meets post 90s terrace culture in our final trend for Autumn Winter 17. Technical fabrications with functional details are important in our “Highrise” trend. Tonal layering mixed with orange colour bursts complete the collection.

The Autumn Winter Collection is available at all New Look stores throughout Kuwait at The Avenues, Al Bairaq Mall (Fintas), Al Salam Mall (Salmiya) and Promenade Mall (Hawally).
