New political twist in ‘Deposits And Transfers’ issue
May 2, 2015, 9:01 am

The differences which have surfaced between members of the Inquiry Commission which was formed to look into the so-called ‘deposits and transfers’ issue have led to the postponement of vote on the report and referring suspect MPs to the Public Authority for Anti- Corruption or the Public Prosecutor, reports a local daily.

According to the sources, the dispute revolves around the number of MPs that will be included in the report and the charges to be filed against them. The same sources disclosed the names of 85 MPs involved are included in the report whose real estate assets have grown significantly since 2006.

The issue took a political twist away from its objectivity because there are those who want to see the names of ‘others’ included in the report, the sources explained.
