June 11, 2015, 9:10 am

Ministry of Interior has made obligatory the decision disallowing military personnel and officers from taking more than 45 days leave during summer break, reports Al-Rai daily. In this context, the Undersecretary of Interior Ministry Lieutenant Suleiman Al- Fahad stressed that the sector will approve only 45 days leave for the military personnel and other officers and “any personnel who wishes to take more than 45 days must present credible reasons to the ministry”.

Security sources said the decision to cut down the leave period during summer is based on two main campaigns that require dedicated efforts of the security personnel, citing the weapons collection campaign and the operation to pursue residency law violators, in addition to measures adopted to curb theft and disturbance to sustain security in all parts of the governorates, as the season of traveling begins.
