Ooredoo organises trip to Paris Saint-Germain football club

Ooredoo Kuwait announced the names of the participants in an all-paid trip to Pairs Saint-Germain’sfootball club in France. The trip includes 13 participants from different universities and local sportsclubs as well as media figures. Taking off on the 24th of October, the participants will spend four days in Paris, during which they will attend a football game at the PSG’s arena Parc de Princes.

Ooredoo Kuwait General Manager and CEO Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Thani met with the participants on Thursday at the Ooredoo Kuwait headquarters in Kuwait City to congratulate them on being selected for the trip. Joining the participants will be sports radio host Manaf Ashkanani, Social Media influencer Omar Al-Othman and the magazine of youth and students StudentTalk.

Commenting on the trip, Ooredoo Kuwait CEO said: “Football is a passion that brings together thousands of people from different communities, especially youth. As a community-focused company, we at Ooredoo care about enablingyoung people and help them grow and reach their potential. Paris Saint-Germain is one of the rising European football clubs, witnessing a growing fan base in Kuwait and around the region.”

Ooredoo extends its gratitude to all organizations that helped in managing the competition based on which the participants were selected, including Kuwait University, the American University of Kuwait, the Australian College in Kuwait, Al-Arabi Sports Club and Al-Salmiya Sports Club.

Ooredoo Telecommunication Group announced in 2012 that it will be the official sponsor of Paris Saint-Germain football club until the end of the 2018 season. Together, Ooredoo and Paris Saint-Germain are continuously working on launching youth-related initiatives spreading across the countries in which Ooredoo operates. The programs include workshops and training courses on nutrition, fitness, and sports.
