Parliament approves Kuwait-UK criminal exchange agreement

During its regular session on Wednesday, the National Assembly approved by majority a draft law on an agreement to exchange criminals between Kuwait and the UK. In his speech at the session, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah underscored the importance of this agreement, adding that it was a step towards boosting bilateral ties with the UK that date back to 1775.

Sheikh Sabah thanked the assembly for approving the agreement that underwent several sessions between senior Kuwaiti and British officials.
