Parliament nominates MPs for number of committees

National Assembly has nominated a number of MPs to fill vacant seats in some of the incomplete parliamentary committees.

MP Ahmad Lari was nominated to occupy a seat in the financial and economic affairs committee of the parliament, Mohammd Al-Rashidi in the legal and legislative committee, Ahmad Al-Qudhaibi in the committee of state budget and final accounts, Abdullah Al-Mayouf in the health, social affairs and labour committee and Faris Al-Otaibi in the foreign affairs committee.

MP Abdullah Al-Mayouf was also chosen for the illegal residents committee, Dr. Khalil Abdullah for the committee concerned with people with disabilities, Mohamad Al-Rashidi for the investigative committee on the mega-million deposits case.

MPs Faris Al-Otaibi and Ahmad Lari were named for the human resources committee, Dr. Abdualhameed Dashti for the negative phenomenon committee, Dr. Oudah Al-Rewaie and Yagoub Al-Sanie for the family and women affairs committee, Abdullah Al-Mayouf for the human rights committee, Dr. Abdullah Al-Turaiji for the committee tasked with the discussion of the directions of His Highness the Amir.
