National Assembly''''s Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee on Sunday approved bills regulating confiscation of arms'''' fire-works and preparing leaders but adjourned examination of others related to amendment of the finance markets authority to the next session.

MP Abdul-Karim Al-Kandari, the commission rapporteur, said in a statement the commission delayed examination of modifying Law Number 6 (2010) with respect of establishing the finance markets authority and organizing stock trading to the next meeting due to "some wording flaws," adding that members of the commission decided to call in those who forwarded the bill to listen further to their views in this regard.

He added that the committee members unanimously approved proposed bills regarding seizure of arms, ammunition, fireworks, criminalizing possession of "white arms" and referring the proposed laws to the relevant committee.

It has also endorsed by unanimity bills stipulating preparedness of leaders, appointment at key posts, terms for ranking jobs, submitting them to the concerned committee.
The commission also blessed a bill on protection of medicine, setting terms of rights and duties of the practice and rights of patients who may be victims of medical mistakes.
