Permanent police kiosks mulled in malls
October 19, 2014, 9:17 am

In a move to sustain public safety in the commercial complexes and shopping centers and restore law and order by tightening the grip on ‘street fighters’ and eve-teasers, especially during public holidays, the Ministry of Interior intends to reinstall the presence of ‘’Chaos Police’’ to guard these commercial and shopping complexes, as the case was before the invasion.

According to the security sources, the officers will be stationed in designated areas of the commercial centers, where anyone with complaints or those who want to report incidents could approach the police post, as they will be monitoring security in such areas. Before the invasion, the “market police’’ played a huge role in curbing fights, violations and theft inside commercial and shopping centers. They were fully equipped and well trained to deal with chaos.
