The lunar month of Shaaban will end on Saturday, June 28, and the holy month of Ramadan will begin the following day, Kuwait Scientific Club (KSC) announced on Thursday.

On Friday, June 27, the crescent will arise at 11:09 a.m. and set at 6:47 p.m., which is shortly before the sunset, so Saturday will complete Shaaban, according to a statement by the KSC astrological department.
It's unlikely for the Muslims' fasting month of Ramadan to begin in any Gulf country on Saturday, the statement said.
