Saveco Family mourns the passing away of Mr. Ahmed William McParland

Chief Operating Officer of Saveco, an International Business Retail Specialist, Ahmed William McParland, passed away on Thursday, 28 July, aged 67, due to cardiac arrest.

Born in 1949, an Irish National, with the education of Retail Administration / Marketing in Mc Master University Hauillion in Canada, was a great achiever. With the strong background of management, organization, merchandising and customer service, he was well respected in the retail industry.

With almost 15 years of experience in the field, he was able to manage and be a part of the growing Saveco International Trading. He was able to build Saveco as one of the leading departmental stores in Kuwait, with the three branches now Al Rai, Al Qurain and Salmiya, and many more soon to open shops.

"I had the privileged of working closely with Mr. William, he was also a dear friend. He had the outstanding qualities of heart and mind. His professional excellence, integrity, humility, leadership qualities, generosity and empathy were signs of brightness for all of us. We will miss his leadership, wisdom, foresight and friendship." — Mrs. Noor Alqatami , CEO of Saveco. Mr. William was loved and respected by all who came to know him- his family, colleagues and friends. The retail business industry in Kuwait will deeply miss the achiever and a father of the industry, for his guidance, his generosity and his grace.

A life well lived, may his soul Rest in Peace.
