While the concerned authorities in the Ministry of Education battle with time to prepare the halls and committees for supervising the secondary stage examination scheduled to kick off Wednesday June 11, sources say the sector is all set to supervise the art and science sections, as well as religious education.

They added the examination papers will be passed on directly to correction rooms for the teachers to mark them and announce results, reports Al-Jarida daily. In this context, the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Education Dr Khalid Al-Rashid confirmed results of the secondary stage examination for this year will be announced on Wednesday June 25.

He stressed the concerned officials are keen on correcting the examination papers and announcing results before voting on the National Assembly byelections commences, indicating the ballot will be conducted in government schools on Thursday June 26 after announcing results of the exam. He added Dr Abdulmohsen Al-Med’ej who’s the Deputy Premier, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Acting Minister of Education and Higher Education will announce results of the examination at a press conference to be aired on Kuwait TV.
