Securitymen arrest men for consuming and possessing drugs

A Kuwaiti citizen and a Bedoun man were arrested in Saad Abdullah area for consuming and possessing drugs, reports Al-Rai daily. Jahra securitymen were patrolling Saad Abdullah early morning when they suspected a car with two occupants. They immediately stopped the car and checked their civil IDs to discover one is a Kuwaiti and the other is a Bedoun. After realizing that they are in a disoriented state, securitymen checked the car to find drugs. The suspects were arrested and referred with the drugs to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.

Meanwhile, another Kuwaiti citizen was arrested near Amghara Bridge for consuming and possessing drugs. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about an unconscious man lying under Amghara Bridge with temperatures reaching 50 degree Celsius, securitymen rushed to the location and discovered that the man lost consciousness due to drug consumption.

They found drugs in his vehicle. Paramedics were summoned to the location and they administered First-Aid on him. He was later referred with the confiscated drugs to the General Department for Drug Control for necessary legal action.

Also, a wanted Kuwaiti citizen was arrested near Mohammad Ben Jassem Bridge Friday early morning in possession of ‘Kabti’ narcotic pills and drug paraphernalia.

According to security sources, Farwaniya securitymen were patrolling the area when they suspected a vehicle and stopped it for checking. After discovering that the motorist is a Kuwaiti citizen who is wanted by law for three cases, they checked the vehicle and found the ‘Kabti’ drugs and drug paraphernalia. The suspect was arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
