Sponge factory fire contaminants "limited" - EPA
September 4, 2016, 5:49 pm

Contaminants which resulted from a sponge factory fire were "limited," Environment Public Authority (EPA) announced on Sunday.

A reading of air pollutants in the industrial Shuaiba zone, in Ahmadi city, where the factory is located, showed a "within limit contamination." South easterly winds, which were prevailing at the time of the fire, helped driving the toxins (Carbon dioxide, Sodium sulfide and Nitrogen dioxide) away from the area.
