Three deported, 22 in custody, 35,000 citations in crackdown

During traffic campaigns held from December 18 to December 24 in all governorates of the country, officers from the General Traffic Department issued 34,919 traffic citations, seized 22 vehicles, detained 22 individuals in traffic custody, referred three expatriates for deportation for driving vehicles without license and discovered 14 vehicles that are wanted for several cases.

In a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior, the General Department of Public Relations and Media Security urged road users to abide by the traffic rules and regulations, affirming that such campaigns will continue against those who violate the laws of the country.
