Police have arrested an Egyptian representative of a company for getting work visas for 12 persons in cooperation with a compatriot representative of another company without the knowledge of the sponsor, reports Al-Shahed daily.

The arrest came after the owner of the company filed a complaint with the General Department of Residence Affairs. Two of the 12 persons on the company sponsorship — an Egyptian and an Iraqi — during interrogation admitted to paying money to two suspects.

One suspect is in custody of the police while the other is said to have left the country. According to information most of the transactions were carried out at the Labor Department of the Capital Province. A case of forgery has been registered at the Shuwaikh Industrial Area Police Station.
