Official data issued by the Public Authority for Manpower revealed that the work permits of 9271 expatriates were canceled within 27 days, between January 12 and February 7.
The number of expats whose work permits were canceled as they were stranded outside Kuwait has reached 4,999 expatriates, implying there are about 185 expatriates whose residencies are revoked daily, Al-Rai reported.
