Health officials confirmed that the Ministry of Health (MoH) is intensifying efforts to double the rate of vaccinations against the Coronavirus, in cooperation and coordination with several government agencies, Al Qabas reported.
The official told the daily that the number of vaccinated people in the country, as of Sunday noon, reached 750,000 citizens and residents, and the rate of vaccine is likely to increase during April and May.
The ministry aims to push all the groups to register on the vaccination platform during the current period, to develop herd immunity, by vaccinating about 70% of the country’s population in the coming months.
In another context, the officials confirmed that the ministry began sending certificates of completion of anti-virus vaccination to people who were infected with Coronavirus during previous periods before receiving the first dose.
