Alsayer wins prestigious KNPC Award

Al Sayer Group, the leading Conglomerate in Kuwait, was awarded with the twelfth Health, Safety and Environment Performance Award. This annually held event, organized by Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), sheds light on sustainable projects, initiatives, and achievements undertaken by Kuwait’s public and private organizations.

KNPC’s yearly award aims at raising health, safety and environment standards in Kuwait, while recognizing the distinguished contributions of Kuwait’s key players in the fields of sustainable business, whether from the private or the public sectors.

Al Sayer Group was awarded with this year’s twelfth Performance Award for several HSE initiatives and programs the company launched and supported during 2018, the award is received by Mr. Naser Mohamed Al Sayer, Manager & Member in Sustainability Committee, Ibrahim H Al Fouzan, Business Director-Toyota Service, and Nehad AlHaj Ali, Deputy Group Manager, Corporate Excellence.

Naser Mohamed Al Sayer stated that this is one of the milestones AlSayer has achieved in its journey of Sustainable and responsible business organization in State of Kuwait and abroad to include activities like Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, internal blood donation campaigns, the BMI Improvement initiatives, celebrating Earth Day, supporting Environment Public Authority’s awareness campaign, and many more.

As per Eng. Nehad Al-Haj Ali, AlSayer Group, being one of the region’s top leaders in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability, expressed its utmost pride in this latest achievement, adding to the long list of achievements it obtained by being a socially responsible company with a clear and firm CSR strategy.

During 2018, Al Sayer Group was awarded the Platinum Award from GORD for its GSAS Certification for its Head Office Building at Kuwait Free Trade Zone, As well achieved the First Runner Up in CSR Arabia award in the GCC region in Dubai. The company was recognized for its series of CSR initiatives and programs, which were assessed to have had a deep and meaningful impact on many groups, institutions, and agencies across multiple communities.
