The National Council for Culture, Art and Letters (NCCAL) in collaboration with the Austrian Embassy invited the Austrian Orchestra to perform at the Abdulhussain Abdulredha Theater on 19 February. The Austrian Orchestra gave a magical performance of 16 different pieces in perfect symphony and earned applause from the audience in the packed hall.
Essa Al-Ansari, NCCAL Assistance Secretary General pointed out that the event was organized as part of cultural exchanges between Kuwait and foreign embassies.
Austrian Ambassador to Kuwait H.E.Sigurd Pacher expressed his pleasure with this event, which contributed to improving relations between Kuwait and Austria.
Austrian Ambassador Pacher said the embassy and NCCAL were discussing the possibility of other such ventures such as bringing two Austrian bands to Kuwait and to show an Austrian film in either April or June.
