Undersecretary for Consumer Protection and Control has issued a decree lifting the ban on importing all kinds of bird meat, whether fresh, chilled, frozen or processed and all other derivatives of these products, from the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of India. The lifting of the ban follows the end of bird flu epidemic in Iran and the end of avian influenza in India.
