Brazilian embassy presenting national dishes at food festival

The National Council for Culture, Arts & Literature (NCAAL) will organize the ‘International Food Festival’ tomorrow, on Friday, 18 January, from 10 am till 9 pm. The Embassy of Brazil will be part of the event and some of its traditional dishes will be offered from 12 noon till 3 pm.

They are excited to have visitors sample a bit of Brazilian gastronomy, which will include chicken and beef barbecue; moqueca – a Brazilian fish dish from Northeast Brazil; pão de queijo, Brazilian unique and traditional ‘cheese bread’; and brigadeiro, a chocolate must-have at all Brazilian birthday parties. Also at the booth will be a taste of Brazilian coffee and the national soft drink Guaraná!

All free of charge to the public.
